[The Pick of Destiny]

not very good at all

this game is very bland and boring. the sync is bad, the notes are pretty random, and the animation and graphics are barely sub par. i have no idea how you got above epic riffs and definetly no idea how you got above incubus pulsem. this game is very unoriginal and generic and the graphics are very bland.

Because people like simple games like these! :D Maybe more users thought this game was more fun or had a better replay value than epic riffs or incubus pulsum. That's what really matters.

not really a rhthm game

if you submitted this without it mentioning rhythm games, nobody would say "great rhythm game!" they would say "mediocre game!" and stupid annoying techno ruins it too. the theme of the contest was rocknroll, after all.

What the hell are you talking about!? Music Sheet is entirely rhythm based. The notes are synched TO THE RHYTHM of the music. Sorry it wasn't a DDR or Guitar Hero clone, if those are the only things that fit into your narrow view of what's considered a rhythm game.

the only reason to play this game is to watch the trippy backgrounds. the notes or w/e that come down may be in sync but i cant tell because i dont have to hit them in sync and i cant really see all of them being in sync anyway. but this is a pretty bad idea since i can just go to windows media player and watch cooler stuff and listen to good music. that brings me to the fact that no matter how many different songs i tried i couldnt get it to let me upload stuff. feh

this made me soo mad

first off, the important thing is this game just isnt fun. its simple and silly.

second, the music selection was possibly the worst possible. for the 70s you had a stupid loop, instead of maybeee lemme think the who or led zeppelin or any other good 70s band. the 80s was the same but the music sounded like it was more recent than the 80s. i stopped after then, so i couldnt judge the 90s or now.

and, additionally the art for the 70s was more like 60s art, and the art for the 80s didnt really illustrate the spirit of the decade.

[Mardek Rpg: Chapter 1]

this is just amazing

i loved it-it was like a fusion of earthbound and final fantasy games. incredible programming, and you put a simple light humorous mood on it. it was just great, i cant wait for part 2.

You are thinking of Spin it up and as mentioned before i only heard of it 3/4 thru production. So its not in some senses a copy but in many peoples' eyes can be taken as unoriginal

incredible, and incredibly underrated.

this is one of the best and most well produced games on newgrounds. everything from the super hi quality and highly detailed graphics to the epic soundtrack shows attention to tiny detail. i just cant believe this game doesnt have above a four and has such a bad review average-its amazing. this game couldve easily been a huge hit if it was released on the SNES as a promotion for the snes mouse. keep it up.
